Use the skills and gifts that God has given your congregation to partner with us in helping to shape global leadership for years to come. We offer unique collaboration between seminaries and institutes as well as between countries, consortiums and other likemineded churches who are on fire for the fulfillment of the Great Comission. Many churches have already joined, and we have a network of hundreds of churches and pastors throughout the US, but the need is great. Would you consider joining us in this movement?
What Makes This Different?
Many minisions programs ask for dontations, and then the church recieves an email or a newsletter once or twice a year. GLD is different in that we provide engagement for your entire congregation so that you can all participate in global missions together.
Revitalize and Inspire
Churches that have partnered with GLD have seen their missions dramatically transformed, and in many cases, the church’s mission and vision have expanded. People have started giving more to missions and getting involved in projects overseas and many congregants have been encouraged by what they are seeing God up to around the world.

Working with GLD and the Hispanic Consortium has revitalized our church and our mission for Cuba. Because of the amazing network and resources available, we were able to help change theological education for the entire country of Cuba. Today, they are producing their own PhD students.

What is Available for Churches?
Building Projects
Do you have some people in your church skilled in construction, wiring, IT or audio/video? There are projects all over the world in which they can use their talents to help build new campuses, expand existing ones, and repair some that have been destroyed.
Long Term Engagement
Your church can commit to long-term engagement and see the growth of theological education, the training and development of new leaders and the strengthening of schools in the countries in which you are serving.
Teaching and Training
You have been highly trained and so have many of your congregants. Use that training to train the next generation of leaders who will take the gospel to the ends of the earth.
Resources
Use the resources God has given you to make an impact for a country. These can be financial in nature, or physical (books, materials, supplies, electronics etc…)

Frequently Asked Questions
We aren’t a big church. Can we still join?
Absolutely! This program is designed so that the average SBC church can joing and participate.
Are there any costs associated with this?
No. You are required to give $0 to this program. You can join for free. All we ask is that you seek God’s will for your church and see how you can participate in the greater movement.
Are the leaders you are training all Southern Baptist?
Close to 95% of the schools we are working with are Southern Baptist schools, but we are also working with other schools and leaders of different denominations. One thing that connects us all is our committment to Christ and our adherance to conservative, Biblically-based beliefs.
Can our church participate in more than one project?
Absolutely! You can participate in as many projects as you’d like. We often find that when a champion church comes on board, their whole congregation gets excited about the work and soon there are requests to do more.
What requirements are there for our church?
Simply adhere to the Baptist Faith and Message 2000 and have a heart for missions and theological education. Aside from that, we ask that you participate in events held in your area and network with other pastors and churches for these projects. Be faithful to the country you are serving and stand with their leadership.
