We have provided an ATLA and EBSCO link for their library. Library of about 4000 books. They are using churches (Philemon Azer is serving as their Director) to house the school.
Peter will visit with them about the development of the portal.
Consoritum of the Middle East was discussed.
We need to finalize a Champion Church for this work.
They are seeking accreditation with ICET
History
The Carey Theolgical Seminary will launch in Cairo, Egypt with its offering of classes to students on October 11, 2023. GLD has previously worked with this team on a similar project but with a different name. We were able to re-establish contact with the leadership team and discuss our partnership. Mounir and Shaun are graduates of SWBTS with a PHD in World Christian Studies.
The mission of the seminary is to provide the theological and practical training for students: academic, pastoral and spiritual/character.

Peter has had preliminary meetings on the discussion of technology upgrade.
A preliminary visit sometime in the Fall of 2023 was discussed.
