Seminary Leaders from Canada, Hungary, Romania, The Czech Republic, South Africa, Ukraine, Jordan and Egypt were invited as GLD partnered with Dr. Billie Hanks to co-host a retreat at the International Evangelism Association Christian Conference Center in Asheville, NC., in October of 2025.

Dr. Mahfouz is serving as guest editor of the South African Missions Journal Missionalia. A special edition will examine the partnerships between Global South and Global North Institutions and the Impact it has on Theological Education. Dr. Mangagyi serves as the executive editor for the journal.
